Samsung Confirms Exynos 2700 Advancements, Targets Galaxy S27 in 2027

The South Korean tech giant has updated the market on the performance of its semiconductor design division, confirming progress in the development of the Exynos 2700, a processor that could power part of the future Galaxy S27 lineup. The company also highlighted new strategic projects and announced a professional training initiative aimed at young job seekers. According to System LSI President Park Yong-in, the division achieved one of its best quarterly revenue performances in history in the first quarter. However, the outlook for the remainder of the year remains challenging, with market fluctuations and declining demand expected to result in an annual loss for the division. The Exynos 2700 continues to be developed without delays and is intended for use in the company's future top-of-the-line smartphones. The processor is expected to be evaluated by the Mobile Experience (MX) division before a final decision is made on its inclusion in flagship models. Samsung is also working on new strategic projects and professional training initiatives for young job seekers. The System LSI division is responsible for developing components such as mobile processors and image sensors used in smartphones and other electronic devices.
